Aggie began her athletic career by playing softball, basketball, track, volleyball, and bowling at the middle school, high school and city league levels. As a member of The Victoria High Stingarette basketball State runner-up team (1976), Aggie earned All State and State All-Tourney honors. Opting to attend the Unversity of Texas rather than accept a basketball scholarship, she played for the Austin Rugby team and played on the first UT club bowling team while attending school. Road races ranging from the mile to ultra marathons (31.5 miles) have been her passion in adulthood. She has competed in 50 marathons, 2 ultras, and countless other races.
As a middle school coach (2yrs), high school coach (25 yrs) of basketball, softball, track, and cross country, and girls athletic coordinator (9yrs), Aggie earned the reputation as a time oriented, competitive, colorful, and passionate Coach. She earned awards such as TABC Assistant Coach of the Year, TABC Coach of the Year, and CenTex Coach of the Year. Numerous former players have played basketball, run track and cross country at the collegiate level. Her most proud moments are training and competing in marathons with former players.
Aggie has over 40 years of bookkeeping, over 30 years of residential rental experience, and 25 years of teaching Psychology in Victoria and Austin, TX. She hopes to use all these experiences to make Max Performance Sports one of the best sports programs in Central Austin.
